Polvoron in Paper Cones

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c powdered milk
  • 2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3/4 c melted butter
  • 1/2 c cookies and cream or peanuts (optional)
  • 1/2 of regular white paper
  • tape

Instructions

  1. In a pan, toast the flour until it turns light brown in color. Turn off heat.
  2. Add powdered milk and sugar into the pan with the toasted flour.
  3. Add melted butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Optional: Add other flavors (peanuts, cookies and cream) into the mixture.

To make paper cones:

  1. Roll paper to form a cone. Make sure the bottom holds tightly.
  2. Add Polvoron into the cone/well. Fold tops and seal with tape.
  3. Cut the sharp tip large enough for the Polvoron to pass through.
  4. Bottoms up, open your mouth and wait for that powdery goodness.
  5. Tip: Tap the cone lightly or cut a bigger hole if polvoron refuses to budge. It happens sometimes.
