Counting my blessings today with the letters of the alphabet: The ABCs of Thankfulness. This is a simple and quick exercise that makes me think a bit deeply about some of the things I may have taken for granted lately just because I am accustomed to seeing or using them everyday. Like water.
A/C
Bible
Children + Chocolate
Dreams. The good ones.
Exercise
Freedom
Garden
Hubby + Home
Internet
Joy
Kitchen
Laughter
Mission
Nose
Oils. Essential oils.
Photos
Quiet moments.
Roadtrips + Rest
Sabbath
Time
Umbrella
Vacation. Like right now.
Water
X. Letter X.
Yellow
Zero. It literally means nothing but it’s still an important thing.
I have learned that writing down my blessings daily, one by one, makes me shift my focus on more meaningful things in life. I hope you try it, too. The ABCs of Thankfulness is a great activity to do with the family for thanksgiving. Make your own list, share it and reflect on your many blessings. If you wish to link back here, please do so. Give thanks with a grateful heart.
Yours,
